'Kiss' band's Gene Simmons performs while seated at Brazil concert; Here's what happened
During a Kiss concert in Brazil, Gene Simmons abruptly paused the performance and continued while seated on a chair.

The videos circulating on social media show that the concert was paused for around five minutes. Simmon was caught telling the audience, "Hold on, hold on. We are gonna have to stop." Gene Simmons further described his condition saying "We know how much you love Gene," but he is "obviously sick."
Then, he suggested that they all shout out Gene's name loudly, to show their support and encouragement. Finally, he counted down and led the crowd in a resounding cheer of "Gene!"

Gene Simmons later thanked everyone and wrote on Twitter that he was fine. He also described that he felt weak due to dehydration, "We stopped for about five minutes, I drank some water, and then all was well. Nothing serious. Tomorrow, Bogota Stadium. See you there!"
The band’s ongoing End of the Road World Tour, which began on January 31, 2019, and is set to conclude on December 2, 2023, is keeping Kiss busy. They have a series of concerts scheduled in various locations, such as Brasilia, Sao Paulo, Santiago, Plymouth, Dresden, Detroit, and Edmonton, among others.
Gene Simmons began his musical career playing for various bands such as Long Island Sounds and Missing Links before founding his own band, Wicked Lester. However, when their album was rejected by Epic Records, it led to the formation of Kiss.
Since then, Kiss has gone on to release a total of 20 albums and 60 singles.
