Apple has announced its new iPhone 17 series, starting a meme fest on social media.

Within hours of the global launch, users on X (formerly Twitter) had already transformed the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max into punchlines. From jokes about sky-high prices to snarky comparisons of the new camera layout, memes began trending by Wednesday morning—proving that the internet never misses a chance to roast Apple.

The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max sport a redesigned aluminium frame with Ceramic Shield protection, alongside a striking full-width camera module. The triple-camera setup features 48MP sensors, including a new telephoto lens capable of up to 8x optical-quality zoom.


Under the hood, the devices are powered by the A19 Pro chip, delivering faster performance and improved efficiency. The Pro Max, Apple claims, can play videos for up to 39 hours on a single charge, the longest battery life yet on an iPhone.


Available in silver, blue, and a standout orange finish, the 6.3-inch iPhone 17 Pro and 6.9-inch Pro Max will hit markets starting at USD 1,099 and USD 1,199, with 256GB storage as the base option.
