Kick 2 update: Salman Khan ropes in Bigg Boss 13 first runner-up Asim Riaz for film?

There is an exciting update on the sequel to Salman Khan’s film Kick (2014). If reports are to be believed, Kick 2 may star Bigg Boss 13 contestant Asim Riaz!

It may be recalled that Asim Riaz was one of the most popular contestants of Bigg Boss 13, and was the first runner-up on the show. The winner of Bigg Boss 13 was the late Siddharth Shukla, while the second runner-up was Shehnaaz Gill.

While Shehnaaz Gill was seen in Salman Khan’s 2023 film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan that released on April 21, Asim Riaz is all set to star in Kick 2.


Kick 2 is being produced and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, and he is teaming up with Salman again for the much talked about second installment.

Has Asim Riaz been confirmed for Kick 2?

Asim Riaz’s Instagram post fuelled rumours that he has bagged a role in Kick 2. His Instagram story last night (April 25) has an image of him in a mask, cap and a hoodie, with the caption, “New Beginnings”.

There is no confirmation or mention of Kick 2. But fans were quick to take it as a confirmation. One fan tweeted his IG story with the caption, “Congrats #AsimRiaz for new beginnings. Now it looks confirm that inspirational @imrealasim will be in #SalmanKhan starrer #Kick2. Hope production company stick to contract, keep the role as its described to him & wont edit scenes. Wish u abundance of happiness & success. All the best” (sic).



Asim Riaz is a model and actor from Jammu & Kashmir, who had participated in Bigg Boss 13 and went on to be the No.2 on the show. We don’t know for sure yet if he is a part of Kick 2.

Salman Khan is currently riding on the success of his latest film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The film released on Eid 2023 and got a decent opening, grossing Rs. 100 crore worldwide in just four days of its release.
