Kichcha Sudeep to join politics soon? Here's what the actor says

Kichcha Sudeep recently met politician DK Shivakumar, which raised speculation about his political aspirations. He claimed that he has gotten proposals from a number of Karnataka political groups. Sudeep also discussed his thoughts about entering politics in an interview with a regional broadcaster.


Kichcha Sudeep was last seen in ‘Vikrant Rona’, directed by Anup Bhandari. It earned more than Rs 250 crore globally, making it one of the highest-grossing Kannada films in 2022.



Sudeep stated to a provincial news outlet that he had received proposals from political parties. He stated, “D K Shivakumar, CM Basavaraj Bommai, and minister D K Sudhakar have all met with me. I get along well with everyone, but I have not decided whether or not to run for office. When I make a choice, I will make it public”.


He also stated that his followers’ feedback is important to him while making such a huge choice. He went on to say, “More than political parties, I want to know what my fans think of my political debut, which is the most essential factor for me. I will have to double-check with them as well. Politics is not required for service. First, I need to figure out why I need to enter politics or whether I can still participate on an individual level”.


Kichcha Sudeep is eagerly anticipating the premiere of his new movie, Kabzaa. The historical action entertainment, directed by R Chandru, stars Upendra, and Shriya Saran in prominent roles. The plot of the movie revolves around the life of a gangster. Film set in the pre-independence era, will be released in theatres on March 17, 2023.
