Kia India has expanded the Seltos range with the launch of two new top-spec variants — GTX(O) and X-Line(O). The new trims bring additional safety technologies, connected-car features and premium equipment to the midsize SUV lineup.

The newly introduced variants are available with both turbo-petrol and diesel automatic powertrains. Prices start at Rs 21.57 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Seltos GTX(O) turbo-petrol automatic, while the diesel-powered X-Line(O) is priced at Rs 21.82 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia Seltos GTX(O), X-Line(O): Engine and Transmission Options

The new variants are offered exclusively with automatic transmissions. Customers can choose between 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 160 hp, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) and 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 116 hp, paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.


The GTX(O) variant is priced at Rs 21.57 lakh with the turbo-petrol DCT, while the diesel automatic version costs Rs 21.82 lakh. Kia is also offering the X-Line(O) cosmetic package without any additional charge over the corresponding GTX(O) variant.

Expanded Level 2+ ADAS Suite

A key highlight of the new Seltos variants is the upgraded Level 2+ Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) package. The GTX(O) and X-Line(O) feature 28 ADAS functions, up from 21 features offered in the earlier GTX(A) variant. New additions include:

  • Junction Crossing Assist
  • Lane Change Oncoming Assist
  • Lane Change Side Assist
  • Evasive Steering Assist
  • Navigation-based Adaptive Cruise Control for corners
  • Adaptive Cruise Control for speed-limited zones
  • Highway Driving Assist

The SUV continues to offer safety technologies such as Front Collision-Avoidance Assist and other driver-assistance functions as part of the ADAS package.

Additional Features and Technology

Built on Kia's India-focused global K3 platform, the new variants receive several premium convenience features. Key additions include:

  • 12.3-inch digital driver's display with navigation support
  • Head-Up Display (HUD)
  • Connected Car Navigation Cockpit
  • Kia Connect 2.0 with more than 85 connected-car features
  • Front and rear integrated dashcams
  • One-touch auto up/down function for all windows
  • Rain-sensing wipers
  • Digital Key
  • Smart air purifier with AQI display
  • Voice-enabled controls supporting regional languages
  • VR and navigation functions through the Kia Connect app

What Makes the X-Line(O) Different?

While the X-Line(O) offers the same equipment list as the GTX(O), it gets several exclusive styling elements. These include:

  • Matte Graphite exterior finish
  • Black-and-green interior theme
  • Blacked-out exterior trim pieces
  • Black 18-inch alloy wheels
  • Kia Executive on the New Variants

Commenting on the launch, Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Kia India, said the Seltos has continued to evolve in line with changing customer expectations.

He noted that the SUV's recently earned 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating reflects its engineering capabilities. According to Sood, the GTX(O) and X-Line(O) variants strengthen the Seltos range by combining safety, connectivity and premium comfort features in a single package.

Kia Seltos Price Range

Following the introduction of the new variants, the Kia Seltos lineup is now priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 21.82 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the engine, transmission and variant selected.

The Seltos remains one of Kia India's best-selling models, with monthly sales consistently exceeding 10,000 units. Through the addition of the GTX(O) and X-Line(O), the automaker aims to further strengthen its presence in the competitive midsize SUV segment.
