Kia Seltos 2026 launch: Check price, variants, colours, dimensions & engine options

Kia has finally unveiled the second-generation Kia Seltos 2026, giving India its first look at one of the most anticipated SUVs of next year. The new Kia Seltos brings a sharper design, a more premium cabin, and updated powertrains ahead of its official price reveal on January 2, 2026.

The company said bookings will open nationwide from midnight on December 11, enabling customers to reserve the vehicle with an initial payment of Rs 25,000.

Speaking at the unveiling, Gwanggu Lee, Managing Director & CEO of Kia India, said the new Seltos represents more than a generational upgrade.


"The all-new Kia Seltos is more than a generation change; it's a statement of Kia's intent to redefine the segment. A category-defining SUV since its debut in India, the new Seltos pushes boundaries with bolder design, advanced safety, and segment-leading technology that reset benchmarks," he added.

He further said that the model has been engineered to outperform and optimised for real-world Indian conditions, reflecting customer insights without compromising global standards. This, he said, demonstrates Kia's ambition "to lead, not follow."

Kia Seltos 2026 Exterior: What’s New on the Outside?

The Kia Seltos 2026 sports a completely redesigned face featuring Kia’s latest tiger nose grille, a fresh front bumper, and sleeker lighting elements. On the sides, the SUV now gets flush pop-out door handles and new aero-style alloy wheels similar to the ones seen on the Carens and the Carens Clavis EV.

At the back, the biggest visual shift comes with connected vertical tail-lamps, giving the SUV a bold, modern stance. Overall, it’s a much more sophisticated and aerodynamic take on the bestseller.

Step inside and the Kia Seltos 2026 feels like a completely new SUV. The dashboard and colour scheme mirror what we’ve seen on the Carens Clavis, keeping things familiar yet fresh.

The SUV has also grown in size. Length is now 4.46 metres, and the wheelbase has increased by 80mm, now standing at 2,690mm, translating to noticeably better rear-seat comfort.

While a hybrid variant was widely speculated, Kia has not announced anything on that front yet.
