Kia launches Sonet X-Line starting Rs 13.39 lakh with matte graphite colour option

Auto marker Kia today launched the range-topping 'X-Line' trim of its compact SUV Sonet. The compact SUV will be sold at a starting price of Rs 13.39 lakh for the 1-litre petrol engine with 7DCT (automatic transmission) configuration and Rs 13.99 lakh for 1.5-litre diesel engine with 6AT (automatic) configuration.

Speaking at the launch function, Myung-sik Sohn, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India said, “With a contribution of over 32% to company's total sales, the Sonet has cemented itself as a segment disruptor and sculpted a niche for itself. We are certain that the Sonet X-Line will elevate the brand's profile among upwardly mobile, young and savvy consumers who are seeking a premium and exclusive SUV this festive season."

The X-Line will be offered with multiple ‘Xclusive’ features. The prominent features include "Matte Graphite Exterior paint shade". It will also have Xclusive Splendid Sage Dual Tone Interior. Apart from that, the subcompact SUV also gets 16-inch Crystal Cut Alloys with Black High Gloss finish.


Kia India is among the top five automakers in India. Kia Seltos is car marker's highest selling model in the country. The SUV marker has sold over three lakh Kia Seltos since its launch three years ago.
