Bollywood actor and politician Kangana Ranaut has once again grabbed headlines, this time for revisiting one of the most bizarre and troubling phases of her life. In a candid conversation on an ANI podcast, Kangana Ranaut spoke about the time she was allegedly labelled a “witch” and accused of practising black magic following claims made by her former partner, Adhyayan Suman.

Without directly naming Adhyayan Suman, Kangana Ranaut said on ANI: “My ex who filed a case on me… and on top of that, kuch khade ho gaye ki ye to chudail hai, khoon peeti hai. Kaale kamre mein kaale parde lagake kaala jaadu karti hai. So there was a witch-hunting.”


Kangana Ranaut emphasised how shocking and isolating the experience was, especially at a young age. She was reportedly in her mid-20s when these allegations began circulating, making the situation even more overwhelming.

Kangana Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman Controversy Explained

Kangana Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman were in a relationship around 2008–09 after working together on Raaz 2. However, years later, in 2015, Adhyayan Suman made serious allegations against Kangana Ranaut, including claims of emotional and physical abuse, along with accusations of black magic.

In a 2016 interview, Adhyayan stated: “For a very long time, I hid the fact that she had been physically violent… but eventually I had to come out and share it because the agony, the torture and the frustration were too much to bear.”

The delay in speaking out raised eyebrows, but it also intensified the media storm around Kangana Ranaut, further fuelling public speculation.
