Khelo India Youth Games: Here is everything about India’s premier upcoming gaming event

The grand opening ceremony for the Khelo India Youth Games is scheduled for January 30, 2023, at the Tatya Tope Nagar Stadium in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
The Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG), which were first hosted in 2018 in the capital city of New Delhi, will be conducted for the fifth time this year. The 2021 edition, which had been postponed because of COVID-19, was held in Haryana.
Now, Madhya Pradesh has taken over hosting duties and the games will be spread out over eight different sites in Madhya Pradesh and one in Delhi.
The games will incorporate 27 disciplines in their forthcoming edition, including aquatic sports for the first time ever. Along with the traditional sports and the indigenous games, new disciplines including canoe slalom, kayaking, canoeing and rowing will also be included.

On Monday evening at Tatya Tope Nagar Stadium, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will launch the 5th edition of the Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG). In addition to PM Modi, union ministers Anurag Thakur and Nisith Pramanik are slated to attend the inaugural event.
Renowned performers are reportedly scheduled to appear at the grand inauguration event, including Shaan, Neeti Mohan, Sivamani and Abhilipsa Panda. Additionally, nearly 2,000 volunteers will be stationed at various sporting venues, along with a total of 1,089 national and 303 international authorities participating in the games.
