KGF, Kantara production house denies collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan, Rohit Shetty

Few days ago, there were rumors that Shah Rukh Khan would be working with filmmaker Rohit Shetty and actor Rishab Shetty of 777 Charlie fame for a pan-Indian comedy with a support of KGF, Salaar, and Kantara production company Hombale Films. There were also rumors about possibility of SRK joining hand with Yash for KGF Chapter 3. However, the production company has said that the rumors are not true.

According to a source close to the production company, the particular development in question has "no truth" to it. After KGF, KGF 2, and Kantara, Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Salaar is Hombale Films' upcoming production. The film will be directed by Prashanth Neel. The production house has not revealed the star cast for the banner's additional 2023 films.

With the success of Yash's KGF series and Rishab Shetty's most recent blockbuster Kantara, Hombale Films has emerged as one of India's most successful production companies. This year, KGF Chapter 2 broke box office records and established new standards for pan-Indian blockbusters. In a first, KGF Chapter 2 surpassed Rs 1,100 crore collection. Similarly Rishab Shetty's mythological play Kantara has also received good success on the box office.
