Earlier, he worked as an autorickshaw driver. After his victory, he continued to operate his rickshaw for a few days before his brother took control. He has now decided to transition into the lottery industry since he feels that this has given him luck. Even after winning the Onam bumper, he decided to try his luck again and won prizes of up to Rs 5,000.

However, Anoop's situation was not ideal after he won the lottery. People rushed to him as soon as word of his incredible good fortune spread. The 30-year-old was compelled to spend many weeks away from his home since both strangers and friends flocked to his house in search of financial assistance. As a result, he moved to a different area of the city.


On the first day of his company's launch, several consumers flocked to his store to purchase a lottery ticket from the hand of the winner of the top prize.

It is important to note that Anoop has not received the full compensation of Rs 25 crore. He received approximately Rs 12 crore after tax deductions. Anoop also had to pay income taxes of almost Rs 3 crore.
