Kerala LLM Allotment 2026: Check last date to register, how to apply, fee details and important rules

The Kerala LLM Allotment 2026 option registration process is underway, with the last date to submit options being October 5, 2026, up to 3 PM. Candidates who wish to participate in the allotment process can register their options online through the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in.

How to register options for Kerala LLM Allotment 2026

Candidates can follow these steps to complete the Kerala LLM Allotment 2026 option registration:

Step 1: Visit the official website, http://www.cee.kerala.gov.in.


Step 2: Click on the “LL.M 2026-Candidate Portal” link.

Step 3: Log in using your Application Number and Password.

Step 4: Once logged in, candidates will be directed to their home page on the portal.

Step 5: Select the “Option Registration” menu.

Step 6: Add the colleges and courses you wish to join according to your order of preference.

Step 7: Submit the registered options by October 5, 2026, at 3 PM.

Step 8: Save a screenshot or take a printout of the submitted options for future reference.

Kerala LLM Allotment 2026 option registration fee

General and other candidates are required to pay an option registration fee of Rs. 2,000, while eligible SC, ST and OEC candidates can register by paying Rs. 500.

The fee has to be paid through the online payment facility.

Important instructions for option registration

Only options submitted online through the candidate portal will be considered for the allotment process. Options sent through email, fax, post or submitted by hand will not be accepted.

Candidates are advised to select only those colleges and courses they are willing to join.

Candidates must upload the required documents through the candidate portal by October 4, 2026. However, their registered options will be considered only if their rank is released within the specified time.

What happens if candidates do not register options?

Candidates who fail to complete the online option registration within the deadline will not be considered for allotment.

If a candidate receives an allotment but fails to join within the time, the registration fee will be treated as a penalty. Candidates who leave the allotted seat after taking admission will not receive a refund of the registration fee.
