Kerala and Assam Elections 2026
With the highly anticipated Assembly elections in Kerala and Assam just around the corner on 9 April 2026, authorities are leaving no stone unturned to ensure smooth and fair voting. Voters are being urged to check their polling station locations in advance and prepare for a hassle-free voting experience.

How to Check Your Polling Station Online

Voters in Kerala and Assam can easily locate their polling stations through the Election Commission of India (ECI) portal or Google Maps. To check your polling station:
  • Visit the official ECI website or search “ECI polling stations” on Google Maps.
  • Select your state, district, assembly constituency, and polling station.
  • Access information on the Chief Electoral Officer, District Electoral Officer, and other election officials.
Having this information handy ensures voters can reach their assigned booths on time and avoid confusion on polling day.

Final Preparations Underway in Assam and Kerala

Election authorities across both states have completed most logistical and administrative arrangements. Large-scale deployment of polling personnel and security forces has been done to maintain law and order.

A notable feature in Assam this year is the presence of women-managed polling stations, reflecting efforts to promote inclusivity and gender representation. Kerala, meanwhile, has been smoothly distributing election materials and ensuring all final preparations are complete.
