Keerthy Suresh gifts gold ornaments worth Rs 70 lakh to crew of Telugu film Dasara
Keerthy Suresh presented the crew with gold ornaments valued at over Rs 70 lakh as a gift upon finishing the shoot of her film Dasara.

According to reports, she gave away 130 gold coins of 10 grams each to the film crew. The film, directed by debutant filmmaker Srikanth Odela, stars Nani and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles and will be released worldwide on March 30, 2023. The film narrates the story of goldmines and has been criticised for bearing a striking resemblance to Allu Arjun's Pushpa.
A source close to the film revealed that Keerthy Suresh was emotional on the last day of the shoot and wanted to give something to the people who helped her give her best for the film. At current prices, the gold gifts could have cost her between Rs 70 lakh to Rs 75 lakh.
Nani, who plays the male lead in the film, recently replied to a Twitter user's query about the difference between Dasara and Pushpa, saying that both films are different and used the example of Terminator and DDLJ, both of which feature actors wearing leather jackets.
Another Twitter user asked Nani why his films do not earn huge financial profits, to which the actor gave a witty reply, saying that his producers say otherwise and that he has been sharing the profits a few times. Dasara will be released in theatres worldwide in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages and also stars Shine Tom Chacko and Sai Kumar in pivotal roles.
