KBC 14: Contestant loses Rs 6.5 lakh on Amitabh Bachchan show after expert advice fails

In a weird incident, a contestant in the Amitabh Bachchan's KBC Junior Special, lost 6.5 lakh rupees when experts failed to provide the correct answer. Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 is currently airing the KBC Junior Special, where young contestants try their luck to win big. On December 15, his contestant named Divit Bhargava from Bangalore took a hot seat opposite Amitabh Bachchan.

In the final episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Divit Bhargava was confused answering the 6.40.000 points question. Young contestants then sought professional help and used the “ask an expert” lifeline. The expert on this episode was Srijan Pal Singh, well-known lecturer, scientist and author. He also served as the adviser to the late President, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam .

Surprisingly, the question was an easy one. The question was-- In which field has a husband-wife pair not been awarded the Nobel Prize jointly?

The expert chose Physics, while the correct answer was Peace category.

After failing to answer the question correctly, David took home Rs 3,20,000. Amitabh Bachchan also said that for the first time an expert made a mistake on the show.
