KBC 14: Amitabh Bachchan is taken aback when Akshay Kumar admits to going to the Kumbh Mela in disguise

Amitabh Bachchan, the presenter of the game show Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 (KBC), mocked actor Akshay Kumar when he stated he once 'quietly went and returned' from Allahabad's Kumbh Mela. Akshay Kumar was seen in the hot seat in a new promo video published by Sony Entertainment Television on Instagram on Tuesday.

Akshay and Amitabh were spotted discussing the famed Kumbh Mela, which is held every year in four sacred cities: Haridwar, Ujjain, Nashik, and Allahabad. Big B turned to his celebrity guest at one point and inquired if he had ever seen the Kumbh Mela in person. Akshay confirmed this, and said in Hindi “mauka mila tha to chupa chap gaya aur wapas aa gaya” (I was given the chance once, so I went there silently and without letting too many people know of my location).
