Katrina Kaif’s 'Phone Bhoot' to make OTT debut, but in a different way. Read here

Phone Bhoot is all set to make its OTT debut with Amazon Prime, but it won't be available for everyone to watch. The movie will be available on rent in Ultra High Definition (UHD) quality at Rs. 199 on Prime Video store from December 21. The movie should be seen within 30 days of the day of rental and must be completed within 48 hours of its start.

Prime video India announced the news on social media , they wrote, “tring tring looks like you have a call. Phone Bhoot now available on #PrimeVideoStore, rent now!”

'Phone Bhoot' released in theatres on November 4, 2022. The movie underperformed at the box-office, collecting 18.73 crores against the production budget of Rs. 35 crore. Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, Siddhanth Chaturvedi starrer movie was directed by Gurmmeet Singh and produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani. Jackie Shroff and Sheeba Chadda were also seen playing prominent characters in the movie.


'Phone Bhoot' is a Horror-Comedy film that tells the story of two ghost busters. Sherdil Shergill (Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Galileo Parthasarthy (Ishaan Khatter) are best friends who wanted to become exorcists after watching many horror movies together since childhood.

They plan to make money out of their passion. Meanwhile they meet Ragini (Katrina Kaif) who tells them about their super-natural ability and proposes a business plan. Sherdil and Galileo accept the plan after they have no option left. In no time their business plan becomes a huge success. This success catches the attention of the evil Atmaram (Jackie Shroff), who traps spirits trying to achieve 'moksha'. The film gained an IMDb rating of 7 and a BookMyShow rating of 6.6.
