Katrina Kaif once shared how Nana Patekar helped her overcome nervousness during a challenging scene in ‘Raajneeti’

After the death of the legendary actor Nana Patekar an old video of Katrina Kaif has emerged online where she spoke how Nana Patekar helped her on the sets of Rajneeti. There was a scene in Rajneeti where actress Katrina Kaif needed to give a speech.

Katrina Kaif recalls nervousness while addressing a huge crowd

Katrina Kaif had to address a large gathering in the film, an experience she later recalled in a conversation with Mid Day. Describing the moment, she said, "There were 2000-3000 people on the street. They were not extras. I had to walk onto the stage and deliver a speech. Ajay (Devgn), Nana Sir were there. My hands were trembling. I remember Nana sir saying, it’s fine. It’s going to be fine."

The actor played a politician and his name in the movie was Brij Gopal.

Katrina Kaif played the role of Indu Pratap

The actress played the role of a woman named Indu Pratap who at the end take the position of Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.

The star cast of Raajneeti includes Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn, Nana Patekar, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee and more. The movie was released in 2010.

Nana Patekar Death

According to reports, Nana Patekar was found unconscious at his residence in Dona Paula, Goa, and was rushed to Manipal Hospital. Doctors reportedly attempted to revive him for nearly 45 minutes before declaring him dead. His last rites were held at the Donje farmhouse in Pune on Thursday, with full state honours.
