The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has released the results for the Class 12 Pre-University Certificate (PUC 2) Exam 3 today. The result link will be activated after 1 PM on the official websites — karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in.

This third round of exams was held from June 9 to June 20 for students who didn’t clear Exam-1 and Exam-2. Out of 82,683 candidates who appeared for the third exam, 18,834 students have successfully passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 22.78%. The PUC 2 Exam 3 results were officially declared on June 30.

Why Does KSEAB Conduct PUC Exam 2 & 3?

To support students in enhancing their academic performance, the Karnataka board implemented a three-exam system—PUC Exam 1, 2, and 3. This approach allows students to improve their scores, as the highest marks obtained across any of the three exams are considered for the final result.

Additionally, Exam 3 serves as a chance for students who missed the earlier exams due to valid reasons to appear and qualify.

Students can collect their original marksheets from their respective schools a few days after the results are declared. Those who do not pass have the option to apply for revaluation or appear in the supplementary exams scheduled for the next session.
