Kareena Kapoor reacts to Boycott Bollywood trend, says ‘how will you have the joy and happiness in your life’
The film 'Laal Singh Chaddha,' starring Kareena Kapoor, is among several that have suffered as a result of boycott demands.

When asked about the Twitter trend, Laal Singh Chaddha the actress said that she does not agree with it at all adding how people will get entertained, joy and happiness.
After the death of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June 2020, Bollywood has been scrutinised tirelessly. However, the 'Boycott Bollywood craze resurfaced in 2022 with the release of Laal Singh Chaddha, Liger, Brahmastra, and Raksha Bandhan.
The movement was originally dismissed, but as it gained traction, Bollywood suffered. Actors' previous comments, such as Aamir Khan's "India's rising intolerance" and Kareena Kapoor's contentious utterances, have been widely distributed on social media.
Before the release of Laal Singh Chadda, Kareena addressed the Boycott trend and said, one should not boycott this film and that boycotting the film means boycotting good cinema.
'Pathaan', a Bollywood film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, is also concerned about this tendency. The dispute began when the film's first song, 'Besharam Rang,' was released.
Pathaan's producers used a different advertising strategy in order to avoid the controversies and demonstrations that were taking place in Indore, Assam, and Gujarat.
