Before moving into ‘Satguru Sharan’, Saif and Kareena spent more than a decade at their Bandra residence, ‘Fortune Heights’. Their former home was known for its cosy yet sophisticated interiors, but after the birth of their second son, the family sought a larger and more private space.

In 2021, the couple moved into their new residence, with greater space, comfort and privacy becoming key considerations for the family.

A property that grabbed attention

According to the Financial Express, Saif originally purchased the property in 2012. Over the years, its estimated value has risen significantly and the residence is now believed to be worth more than Rs 100 crore.

The property came into the spotlight in early 2025 after a break-in at the residence in which Saif sustained injuries and was subsequently taken for medical treatment. The incident brought considerable public attention to a home that had otherwise remained largely private.

Designed by interior expert Darshini Shah, the residence retains the warmth associated with the couple’s earlier home while introducing a more expansive and sophisticated aesthetic.

The interiors feature soft pastel shades, rich wooden textures and carefully selected décor. The living room combines cream-coloured seating with a striking Turkish rug, bringing together classic and contemporary elements.

Parts of the residence feature Victorian-style black-and-white chequered flooring, adding a timeless character to the interiors.

Saif’s love for books is reflected in a custom-built library, featuring antique-inspired shelving and ambient lighting. Kareena’s walk-in wardrobe, which she has occasionally showcased on social media, features mirrored panels, designer lighting and neatly organised luxury collections.

The children’s rooms offer a more playful aesthetic, with pastel shades and jungle-inspired themes creating a lively contrast to the rest of the home.
