Karan Vohra talks of Sajid Khan, says director accused of sexual harassment deserves a second chance

Actor Karanvir Bohra while promoting his new music video with co-star Poonam Pandey, has voiced his support for #MeToo accused Sajid Khan.

Khan was accused of sexual harassment by multiple women during India’s #MeToo movement. He has recently returned to the public eye, going on as a participant in the popular reality TV show Bigg Boss 16, which drew massive criticism from audiences and activists alike for his inclusion in the show despite the accusations.

In a recent press conference, Bohra was asked about his take on Bigg Boss 16.


He said his favourite contestants comprised Sajid, Abdu Rozik and MC Stan and added that he feels people who have made mistakes in the past deserve a second chance.

He commented that everyone has flaws and makes mistakes, and, in that sense, he supports Sajid Khan and likes him as a contestant. He also added he has known Sajid Khan for a long time, as well as his sibling Farah Khan.

Bohra continued, saying that people should always stand with their friends, whether wrong or right.

Actress Rani Chatterjee recently spoke about Sajid Khan’s harassment of her when she went to audition for a song in his movie Himmatwala.

Chatterjee claims that Khan asked her inappropriate questions about her figure and also enquired about her sex life. This made the actress uncomfortable, and she left the audition soon.
