Rishabh Shetty, who rose to national prominence with 'Kantara' last year, recently attended a Bhoota Kola event made famous by the film. Shetty went to the festival in coastal Karnataka to seek blessings and thank the Gods for his film's success. 'Kantara', a Kannada film, was a sleeper smash, grossing more than Rs. 400 crore globally.


The film was set in coastal Karnataka and centred on the local Bhoota Kola celebration and the Daiva Nartakas, both of which are important elements of Karnataka's folklore and mythology.
