Kantara Hindi continues to gain, outpaces Ram Setu and Thank God in Maharashtra

Box Office India has said Kantara's Hindi version received a better response than the Bollywood films Thank God and Ram Setu in Maharashtra. Kantara hit the theatres more than two weeks back, but it has been registering more footfall than Bollywood films. Kantara's collection has been quite good his weekend, and the movie is still steadily growing. While it can be considered a good sign for regional films, the trend is worrying for Bollywood films featuring big stars like Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar.
The Hindi version of Kantara has bagged Rs 42.95 crore till October 30. It has surpassed the collections of Hindi versions of Ponniyin Selvan I, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, and Karthikeya 2. Meanwhile, the makers of Kantara have confirmed that the film's OTT release will take time.
