'Kantara', the Rishab Shetty film, went on to become a huge success. Now the actor, director have shared details of the sequel of Kantara.

Umesh Gandhakadu, the author of the "Daiva Nartaka," claims that Shetty prayed for guidance before beginning work on the "Kantara" sequel.
The local god has given his approval, he continued. "Daiva Nartaka '' declared: "We were asked to perform Panjurli (a local deity) seva in Mangalore by Rishab Shetty. I provided service at the Madivalabettu temple in Bandale." The local god speaks instead of Gandhakadu when he transforms into a "Daiva Nartaka," so he was unable to provide any further details.
The request was made by Gandhakadu while he was in his "Daiva Nartaka" form, and the god gave his blessings. The god has suggested making the sequel with great care and meeting the pilgrimage centre's caretaker, Dr Veerendra Hegde, a BJP Rajya Sabha member. Shetty has also been instructed by the god to pray to Annappa Panjurli.
According to reports, he has earned Rs 397 crores worldwide.
Apart from Rishabh Shetty, Kishore Kumar G, Sapthami Gowda, Achyuth Kumar, and Pramod Shetty also appeared in Kantara. The movie was made available on Amazon Prime Video in four different languages: Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu on November 23. The movie's English and Hindi dubs were made available on Netflix on December 9.
