Kanpur Police Commissioner Raghubir Lal told ANI, "We have found the details of the car. The car has been seized. The car was driven by Shivam Mishra. His father is KK Mishra. After the accident, Shivam Mishra's bouncers pulled him out of the car. It is being said that he has some medical issues. The FIR of the accident was registered earlier, and now, in our investigation, we have learned that the name of the driver is Shivam Mishra."
"The accident occurred around 3.15 pm near Rev-3 Mall when the luxury car, reportedly driven by Shivam Mishra, the son of businessman K K Mishra, went out of control and ploughed into people standing along the roadside and several vehicles, triggering panic in the area," DCP (Central) Atul Kumar Srivastava said to PTI.
As per a video uploaded on social media the black Lamborghini Revuelto is seen driven by the bodyguards of the tobacco merchant’s son who were following him in another car surrounded by police and onlookers.

According to Gwaltoli police, footage from multiple CCTV cameras installed at nearby shops, traffic intersections and residential buildings is being examined to reconstruct the sequence of events and determine the speed of the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The accused driver has been identified as Shivam Mishra. He is under close surveillance to prevent any attempt to evade the investigation, according to police.
Statements of the injured victims and eyewitnesses are being recorded, while the black Lamborghini has been seized and sent for mechanical inspection, police told PTI.
As per eyewitnesses account the car first crashed into an auto rickshaw and instead of slowing down the car's speed doubled and it went on to hit multiple two-wheelers and pedestrians causing chaos in the area.
The sportscar hit a Royal Enfield bike and flung its rider nearly 10 feet into the air. The car. The car mounted the motorcycle's front wheel and dragged it for some distance before hitting an electric pole and coming to a halt.
One of the injured, Taufiq, a resident of Yamunaganj, was flung several metres and suffered serious leg injuries, police said. Others sustained fractures and bruises.
Angry locals gathered at the scene and surrounded the car, forcing the driver to remain inside. Witnesses alleged that private bouncers accompanying the accused attempted to disperse the crowd and behaved aggressively, further escalating tensions.
Police rushed to the spot, rescued the driver, and shifted him along with the injured to a private hospital. The damaged Lamborghini was seized and taken to the police station, officials said.
Tensions later flared at the police station as victims and local residents alleged misbehaviour by the accused’s associates and claimed that police were going easy on him due to his family’s influence. Protesters also alleged pressure for a compromise and delays in registering a case.
Sonu Tripathi, one of the injured, told mediapersons that he and his cousin were standing near their parked motorcycle when the car hit them. “My cousin was thrown off the bike, and two others were flung onto the footpath. We have filed a complaint,” he said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Srivastava said the vehicle had been seized and that further action would be taken based on the complaint.
“The injured were given primary treatment. An FIR will be registered, and further legal action will follow,” he said.
