Importance of Kannada Hanuman Jayanti-

According to Hindu scriptures, Draupadi, the Pandavas' wife, kept this fast in order to appease Lord Hanuman. Lord Hanuman was a great and devoted follower of Lord Shri Rama who committed his whole life to Lord Shri Rama. This festival is observed in North India during Chaitra month, and in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka during Margashirsha month. Karnataka celebrates this day with tremendous devotion, fasting and praying to Lord Hanuman. It is also believed that those who worship Lord Hanuman with complete devotion and commitment would have their wishes granted.

3. Visit the temple and light a diya, offer flowers, vermilion (sindoor), red garments, a banner (Jhanda) with the name Shri Rama written on it, and sweets.

4. Recite Hanuman Chalisa, Sundar Kaand, and Aarti.

5. Break your fast in the evening after puja and eat only satvik food.
