Kannada actor Chetan Kumar Ahimsa's OCI cancelled
Chetan Kumar Ahimsa's Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) status was canecelled, a month after he was arrested by Bengaluru police.

This came after the actor was arrested by Bengaluru police for his tweet which claimed the "Hindutva is built on lies".

Bajrang Dal then filed a complaint against Kumar and an FIR was registered. However, this was not the actor's first encounter with the law. Earlier in 2022, the actor was arrested for an objectionable tweet pertaining to Karnataka High Court Judge who was then part of a bench that was hearing petitions challenging the ban on hijab in educational institutions.
