Kangana Ranaut has stated that she would reveal the release date of her next film, 'Emergency', only one month in advance. The actress claimed that she took this decision after two films, Tiger Shroff and Amitabh Bachchan's 'Ganapath' and Bhushan Kumar's 'Yaariyan 2', set their release date on October 20.

Kangana remarked in her tweet that while she was looking for a release date for ‘Emergency’, she saw that this year's movie calendar is pretty much empty, which she believes is due to the difficulties that the Hindi film industry is experiencing. She said that she chose October 20 based on her post-production deadlines, but within a week, T series owner Bhushan Kumar announced his film on the same day. Even Amitabh Bachchan and Tiger Shroff launched their ambitious endeavour and slated its release for October 20. She said that 'Bollywood mafia gangs' are conducting panic meetings.

She said in her tweet that such conflicts are pointless. The industry is already suffering greatly and that such moves may be self-destructive.

Kangana's tweet came after Tiger Shroff released the teaser for his much-anticipated movie 'Ganapath'. The film reunites him with co-star Kriti Sanon, as well as Amitabh Bachchan. It is a big-budget film by Vashu Bhagnani that will have Tiger Shroff unleashing his action prowess once more.

On the other hand, the project ‘Emergency’ is an ambitious project undertaken by Kangana Ranaut and her production company. She portrayed Indira Gandhi, India's former Prime Minister. She also directed the film.

Apart from that, T-Series ‘Yaariyan 2’ will be released on October 20. It is the sequel to the popular 2014 movie ‘Yaariyan’, starring Himanshu Kohli and Rakul Preet Singh, directed by Divya Khosla Kumar.
