Kalaprabhu film 'Indrajith' set for its World TV Premiere this weekend

The action-adventure Tamil language film 'Indrajith', starring Gautham Karthik and Sonarika Bhadoria, is all set for a World Television Premiere this weekend. 'Indrajith' is scheduled to air on Colors Tamil on March 12 at 2 PM. The film is written and directed by Kalaprabhu and features Gautham Karthik and Sonarika Bhadoria in lead roles. Apart from Gautham Karthik and Sonarika Bhadoria, the movie also features Ashrita Shetty, Sachin Khedekar, Sudhanshu Pandey, Nagendra Babu and others. Rasamathi is the cinematographer of the film and it has been edited by V.T. Vijayan.

Director Kalaprabhu said that he wanted to ‘bring something new and fresh’ in terms of concept and screenplay, and Indrajith was the result of this. He said that he was grateful to the entire cast and crew for bringing "an eccentric story to life". He added that KP Naveen’s excellent background score adds essence to his film. While talking about the movie, actress Sonarika said that the film has all the commercial elements and an interesting storyline.

The story revolves around Mayilvaganam, a retired professor of archaeology, who is looking for a mystical stone that can cure serious diseases. He forms a team of youngsters to look for this stone, which will compete against Kapil Sharma (an old nemesis of Mayilvagnam). Indrajith, a happy-go-lucky adventure junkie, is a part of this team. On finding the stone, Indrajith realises that Mayilvagnam is the one with evil intentions. Hence, Mayilvagnam is jailed and the stone is handed over to Kapil. On Indrajith’s advice, Kapil decides to share the stone with other countries and cure deadly diseases.
