Kachra ka delivery? Woman books rapido porter to dump garbage, internet can’t decide whether to laugh or cringe
A bizarre incident has left social media users scratching their heads after a woman reportedly booked a Rapido porter to deliver a box, only to have him drop it in a heap of garbage. The story, shared on X (formerly Twitter), has gone viral, leaving netizens divided between laughter and discomfort.

When Rapido Porter Meets Unexpected Tasks

Rapido is widely known for transporting people, parcels, and groceries across cities, but one woman decided to test the limits of the service. According to the viral post, she handed a cardboard box filled with goods to a Rapido porter outside her gate. The porter, as per protocol, asked, “Madam, is the payment online or cash?” She replied, “Brother, it’s already paid online.”

Everything seemed routine until the porter reached the drop location. Instead of a person waiting to receive the package, there was nothing but a pile of garbage.

Confused Porter, Unmissable Response

Perplexed, the porter called the woman: “Madam, whom should I hand over the package to?” Her response was unexpected: “Brother, just throw it there. It’s all garbage.”

The porter reportedly laughed at the absurdity of the situation, commenting, “So this is where we have reached, now we are delivering other people’s trash!” The post concluded, summing up the quirky incident perfectly: “The woman used the porter service in the most unexpected way possible.”

Netizens Split: Laughter vs Criticism

The incident quickly gained attention online. Some users praised the woman for her “pure Indian jugaad,” highlighting the clever, if unconventional, use of modern services. One user wrote:

“Haha, this is pure Indian jugaad at its best! Now people use their porters even for garbage bags! Smart saving, but poor delivery guy carrying trash for just ?30–50 per trip.”

Others defended the porter, noting the discomfort caused by treating the delivery worker as a disposable tool. As one comment put it:

“Funny on the surface, but a bit uncomfortable underneath. Using a porter like this crosses basic courtesy.”

Convenience Over Courtesy?

This unusual episode has sparked broader discussions about the balance between convenience and respect for gig economy workers. While paying for a service may make such actions legal, it raises ethical questions about treating delivery personnel with dignity.

As Rapido continues to expand its services beyond people and groceries, incidents like this serve as a reminder that innovation can sometimes clash with etiquette.
