‘Justice is served’: Indian Army releases video of precise Operation Sindoor strikes across terror camps in Pakistan
India carried out precise military strikes under 'Operation Sindoor' in the early hours of 7 May, targeting nine terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. The action followed the killing of 26 civilians in a terrorist attack in P...

The videos show precision strikes on nine identified terror locations. These include camps in Sawai Nalla, Sarjal, Muridke, and Kotli, among others. According to the Army, these sites were linked to terror groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen.
The attacks occurred between 1:04 am and 1:30 am. No Pakistani military sites were targeted.
Strike footage shared online
Minutes before the strikes began, the Indian Army posted a high-octane video on social media platform X. The clip featured tanks, helicopters, artillery, and troops in action. It ended with the message: “Always ready, always victorious.”Another post, made after the operation, read: “Justice is Served, Jai Hind!”
The footage included the destruction of specific terror facilities, such as:
- Markaz Abbas camp in Kotli, which was reportedly a key LeT suicide bomber training site
- Gulpur camp, used by LeT and linked to past attacks in Poonch (2023) and a 2024 pilgrim bus assault
- Sarjal camp in Sialkot, connected to the killing of four J&K Police personnel
- Muridke and Bahawalpur camps, tied to the Mumbai attacks and JeM leadership respectively
Each location was carefully selected to avoid civilian casualties.
Government Justifies Strikes as Necessary and Proportionate
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri addressed the media on Wednesday. Speaking alongside Colonel Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, he said, “As you all know, on April 22, Pakistani and Pakistan-trained terrorist, associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, launched a barbaric attack on tourists in Pahalgam. 25 Indians, and one Nepali citizen were cowardly murdered. This is the most serious incident since 2008 Mumbai attack considering that fact the civilians were attacked.”He confirmed that India acted based on credible intelligence and to prevent further attacks, “Our intelligence monitoring of Pakistan-based terrorist modules indicated that further attacks against India were impending. There was thus a compulsion both to deter and to pre-empt.”
Army Details of Targets and Timing
The Indian Army detailed each target in a series of posts. Among them:- Abbas camp at Kotli, destroyed at 1:04 am, located 13 km from LoC
- Gulpur camp at Kotli, a LeT control base, hit at 1:08 am
- Muridke, a training centre for the 2008 Mumbai attackers, neutralised
- Bahawalpur, JeM’s regional HQ, reportedly visited by senior terrorists
- Mahmoona Jaya, Barnala, and Syedna Belal camps—each linked to weapons and survival training
According to Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, “The targets for Operation Sindoor were based on credible intelligence inputs and locations that were so selected to avoid damage to civilian infrastructure and loss of civilian lives.”
The strikes were a direct response to the 22 April Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Twenty-five Indian tourists and one Nepali citizen were killed. The group that claimed responsibility, The Resistance Front (TRF), is believed to be affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Foreign Secretary Misri noted, “Pakistan links have been established in this attack. On April 25, Pakistan's pressure to remove the reference to TRF from the media release shouldn't be ignored. Pahalgam terrorist attack has exposed the links of Pakistan with terrorists.”
Sources told PTI that Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the armed forces for their swift and focused response. The strikes were described as deliberate and limited in scope, designed to hit only terrorist infrastructure.
So far, Pakistan has denied responsibility for the Pahalgam attack and has not acknowledged the presence of terrorist bases within its territory.
India’s position remains firm: actionable intelligence required immediate response. And so, between the silence of diplomacy and the loudness of artillery, Operation Sindoor unfolded—with purpose, precision, and a message.
