'Just love for them': Rashmika Mandanna on trolls who mocked her for not watching Kantara

Rashmika Mandanna has nothing but love for her trolls. Recently, the actress has been subjected to brutal online trolling due to her rift with Kantara star Rishab Shetty.

The trolling started a few weeks ago after Rashmika admitted that she hadn't seen Shetty's mega-blockbuster-- 'Kantara'.

The actress said, responding to media questions about her recent trolling, "I just have love for them. I don't know what else I'm supposed to say about it. It's left to them."


Several netizens accused the Pushpa star that she had forgotten her Kannada roots after working in the Tamil and Telugu film industries.

The actress defended herself, stating that when she was asked whether she'd seen Kantara within the first 2-3 days of its release at that time she hadn't gotten the chance to watch it.

Rashmika added that she saw Kantara later and complimented the team via a message. Reacting to the rumours of Kannada filmmakers banning her, she said she wasn't banned in Karnataka yet.

Kantara is one of the mega-blockbusters released this year. The movie is written, directed, and led by Shetty himself, making him an instant sensation across the country.

Shetty also added to Rashmika's trolling woes when he said he did not like working with her 'type' of actors. His statement indicated that he had some issues with Rashmika.

Shetty directed Rashmika's debut film Kirik Party. The reason for the rift between the two co-workers remains unknown but it appears to be growing by the day.
