Juhi Chawla responds to why Salman Khan’s marriage proposal was rejected

An old video surfaced a few days ago where Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is seen telling people that he approached Juhi Chawla’s father to ask her hand in marriage. However, he was rejected. Legendary actor Juhi Chawla recently spoke to reporters about this video.

Juhi Chawla told the reporters that during that time, she had just begun her career and Salman Khan's stature was not the way it is now. She had received a film offer to work with him. But, she did not know anyone properly, neither Salman Khan, Aamir Khan nor anyone else in the industry. Due to certain issues she couldn’t do the film with him.

Juhi Chawla said Salman Khan still reminds her that she did not do that movie with him.


She said that both of them hardly worked together on films but performed a lot on stage shows. Salman had a cameo in Juhi’s film Deewana Mastana.
