Jio offers special Valentine's Day plans; check for more details

In celebration of Valentine's Day, Reliance Jio has announced that it is offering big discounts with extra perks to its users. These extra perks are especially on the purchase of the Rs 349, Rs 899 and Rs 2,999 plans.

Reliance has however not announced an end date for the plans, which had begun on 10th February. Valentine's Day is celebrated around the world on 14th February and people take the opportunity to show their love and appreciation for the loved ones in their life. Traditionally it is to celebrate the love between couples, as they take to exchanging gifts, and other acts of kindness leading up to the day.

Several Jio bundles come with a complimentary 12 GB 4G data vouchers and joining any of these programmes also allows you to save up to 750 off on some of your airfare purchases. In order to cash in on this offer, tickets must be purchase via the ixigo website and is applicable on orders worth Rs 4,500 and above.


Another offer is on a minimum purchase of Rs 799, allowing you to get a Rs 150 discount on items from Ferns & Petal. Join any of these programmes, and McDonald's will also knock off 105 off the price of any burger that costs 199 or more.

Jio's Valentine's Day plan worth Rs 349 is open for a whole month and includes a total data pack of 75GB, which works out to 2.5GB every day. The plan also includes 100 free SMS and unlimited calling. You can also use Jio's mobile applications for free with this pack.

This Jio offer is good for a whole three months and with this package, you get 225 GB of data at 2.5G per day, sufficient for almost a month of heavy web browsing. The bundle also includes both unlimited domestic and international calling and 10 daily free text messages. The Jio app package is also available to you at no additional cost.

Jio's Valentine's Day plans: Rs 2,999 plan
This Jio pack extends the standard validity period of 365 days to include 23 extra days. The plan includes 912.5 GB of data, which gives the average daily internet use of 2.5 GB. Its plans, like those of competitors, provide 100 free SMS per day and daily limits of zero on outgoing calls. You'll get a free membership to the Jio app when you join up for the plan.
