Following the launch of its new recharge plans for the JioFi dongle, Jio has come up with yet another product, this time for the gaming market. Jio has launched its game controller that allows gamers to plan games on their Android TVs, Android tablets, Jio set-top boxes and other devices. The controller comes with two primary triggers and eight arrow and direction buttons.

On the pricing front, the controller is priced at Rs.3499, with an affordable EMI facility starting at Rs.164.72 per month.

You can buy the controller from the official website of Jio. However, there are chances that the controller might be available on other ecommerce platforms shortly.

Specifications of the game controller
The product is compatible with Android TVs and tablets and the Jio set-up box. It, however, is not meant for dedicated gaming consoles like the PlayStation or the Xbox. The controller supports low latency gaming, which is essential for getting high performance in your games. There are two vibration feedback motors and two pressure points in the game controller. Moreover, Bluetooth v4.1 connectivity is offered by the controller for pairing your devices. You can also use the controller wirelessly up to a range of 10 meters.

The controller has a battery life of 8 hours and supports haptic control. There is a micro-USB port for charging the controller when it runs out of battery. The controller is lightweight and comes in matte black colour.

With significant developments in the Indian telecommunications market, Reliance Jio is making a name for itself. Currently, it boasts of being the only telecom provider in India that offers connectivity and mobile telephone service on the trek route of Kedarnath. The service that Jio would provide would also activate telecom facilities between Gaurikund and the shrine at Kedarnath.

In the coming months, too, Jio will be unveiling more plans and services for its consumers. Such plans would include plans with OTT subscriptions, gaming-based offers and the like.
