Reliance Jio has announced the Beta trial of its True-5G services on the occasion of Dussehra festival. Initially, Reliance Jio 5G beta trial is being rolled out in four cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Varanasi. The company has already announced that the Jio 5G Welcome Offer will come with unlimited 5G data with up to 1gbps+ speed. As these are beta trials for Jio's 5G services, not every user will be able to get them.

The company has announced a ‘Welcome Offer’ that it says will enable its invited customers to trial True-5G services and provide service and user-experience feedback. Jio says that its True-5G is built on the "We Care" principle and will bring transformational changes across Education, Healthcare, Agriculture, Skill Development, Small, Medium, and Large enterprises, IoT, Smart homes, and Gaming, impacting 1.4 billion Indians.

Reliance Jio hasn’t announced any 5G plans as of now, which could mean that under this Welcome Offer, Jio users with a 5G phone will be able to get access to these 5G services for free.
