Jeecup Counselling 2025: Check dates, full schedule, registration process, documents required, fee and other details

The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh, has started the registration process for the first round of counselling for admission into polytechnic diploma courses. Candidates who have cleared the JEECUP 2025 exam can register for counselling from June 27 onwards through the official website — jeecup.admissions.nic.in.

After completing the registration, candidates must finish the choice filling and locking process by July 2, 2025. In this step, candidates need to select and lock their preferred colleges in decreasing order of preference. Based on the filled choices, the seat allotment process will begin on July 3, 2025.

Candidates appearing for JEECUP counselling will need the following documents:


JEECUP admit card

JEECUP rank card 2025

JEECUP counselling allotment letter

Mark sheets and certificates of qualifying examination

Character certificate

Migration certificate (if applicable)

Reservation certificate (if applicable)

Two passport-size photographs

Domicile certificate

Two sets of photocopies of all the above documents

Jeecup Counselling 2025: What happens after counselling?

Once the registration and choice filling are complete, the exam authority will allocate seats based on the candidate's choices and merit. There will be a total of seven rounds in which seat allotment results will be published.

Jeecup Counselling 2025: Seat acceptance fee and document verification

Candidates who are allotted a seat during counselling will be required to pay a seat acceptance fee of ₹3,000. The document verification process will be conducted offline by the authorities. Candidates must report to the assigned institutions with hard copies of the uploaded documents for verification. If a candidate fails to report to the assigned verification centre, their admission will be cancelled.
