The registration process for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination will end tomorrow, 27 November 2025. Candidates must complete and submit their application forms on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in by 9:00 PM, while the fee payment window will remain open until 11:50 PM.

How to Apply for JEE Main 2026 Session 1

Students can follow the steps below to complete registration:
Step 1: Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on “JEE Main 2026 Registration – Session 1.”
Step 3: Register as a new user by entering your name, email ID and mobile number.
Step 4: Log in with the generated application number and password.
Step 5: Fill out the form with personal information, academic details and exam city preference.
Step 6: Upload required documents: photo, signature, category certificate (if applicable), PwD certificate (if applicable).
Step 7: Pay the application fee online.
Step 8: Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

JEE Mains 2026: Documents required

Applicants must upload scanned copies of the following:

• Candidate’s recent colour photograph with 80% face visible, named 'Photograph' in JPG/JPEG format (10–300 kb)
• Signature, named 'Signature' in JPG/JPEG format (10–50 kb)
• Class X or equivalent certificate/marks sheet, named ‘Class-X Certificate’ in PDF format (10–300 kb)
• PwD/PwBD certificate, if applicable, named 'Disability Certificate' in PDF format (10–300 kb)
