The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the JEE Main 2026 result release date to February 16. The authority will announce the JEE Main session 1 result next week, and candidates can find the JEE Mains result 2026 link on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates in JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will qualify to appear for JEE Advanced 2026, as per previous admission rules.

JEE Main 2026 Result Date and Time

The result of JEE Main 2026 has been postponed, and the reason is not known yet. Before releasing the final scorecards, NTA will release the final answer key. The NTA will upload the JEE Main 2026 results and cut-off on their official websites —nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in.

NTA is going to release the final answer key for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 by tomorrow morning. The JEE Main Session 1 result is going to be declared later in the evening on the same day, according to a report in Times of India.

JEE Main 2026 Result: Expected Cut-off Range for General Category

Based on past trends, general category candidates may need approximately 90–100 marks out of 300 to qualify for JEE Advanced. This score range generally corresponds to a percentile of around 93–95 or higher, depending on overall performance and normalisation.


JEE Main Result 2026: Seat allocation process and admission procedure

Admission will be offered to candidates based on their preferences and All India Ranks in JEE (Main) – 2026 through a Seat Allocation Process to be announced later by CSAB/JoSAA.
