JEE Main 2026 Result
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the much-awaited JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results shortly. The result links will be activated on the official portals, allowing candidates to download their scorecards online.

At present, one of the official websites — jeemain.nta.ac.in — is reportedly showing an error. However, NTA hosts results across multiple platforms, and candidates are advised to stay patient as the official links will soon be made live.

Once activated, students will need their application number and password/date of birth to access and download the scorecard.

How to Check JEE Main 2026 Result

Follow these steps to download your scorecard:
Step 1: Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link titled “Result of JEE (Main)” or “View Scorecard.”
Step 3: Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth/Password.
Step 4: Fill in the CAPTCHA security code displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Click on Submit.
Step 6: Your scorecard will appear on the screen.
Step 7: Download and take a printout for future reference.

What After JEE Main 2026 Results?

  • Improve Your Score: If your Session 1 result does not meet your expectations, you can apply for Session 2, scheduled from April 2 to April 9, 2026.

  • Eligibility for JEE Advanced: Candidates scoring above the 95th percentile are generally eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, subject to official cut-offs.

  • Target Top Institutes: Students securing 99.99 percentile and above can focus on JEE Advanced for admission into IITs or aim for top branches in prestigious institutions

  • Seat Allocation Process: As per the 2026 admission guidelines, seat allocation will follow a centralised and automated process for admissions into premier technical institutes across the country.

  • Registration Deadline: Candidates planning to appear for the April session must complete registration at jeemain.nta.nic.in before February 25, 2026.
