JEE Main 2023: Aspirants demand postponement of January session

Students want Session 1 of the JEE Mains 2023 to be rescheduled to April.
Many students have requested the National Testing Agency (NTA) to postpone the JEE Main 2023 examination dates. The NTA has announced that Session 1 of the JEE Main 2023 will be held in January, and Session 2 will begin in April. According to the NTA, JEE Mains 2023 Session 1 will take place on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31.

However, the recently-announced dates have come as a disappointment for both teachers and students. The dates for JEE Mains 2023 January session clash with the CBSE board exams. The board practical exams will be held in January, while the theory examination is slated for February.

One of the aspirants tweeted that it was the "worst decision" by the NTA. The student said that with their preboards and board practicals taking place "just before" JEE Mains, their preparation for the engineering entrance exam would be hampered. Students want Session 1 of the JEE Mains 2023 to be rescheduled to April.

The 2023 CBSE Board Exam dates have already been announced, with the practical exams for Class 10 and Class 12 starting on January 1.
