JEE Advanced 2026 Date: Know start and last date to apply, eligibility criteria, registration process and documents required

As per the announced timeline, the JEE Advanced 2026 exam will take place on May 17, 2026. The application form will be available starting April 23, 2026.

Exam Structure and Subjects

The JEE Advanced 2026 exam will consist of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, both scheduled on the same day in separate slots.

JEE Advanced is a national-level engineering entrance examination conducted for admission into the prestigious IITs. Registration Timeline

The registration process for JEE Advanced 2026 will begin on April 23 and will continue until May 2, 2026, for Indian candidates.

The application form will be released after the declaration of JEE Main 2026 results.

Eligibility Criteria

Only candidates who successfully qualify in JEE Main 2026 will be permitted to apply for JEE Advanced 2026.

Registration Process

Candidates must follow these steps to complete the application:
Step 1: Visit the official JEE Advanced website
Step 2: Register using JEE Main 2026 roll number, password, and security pin
Step 3: Fill in personal details such as name, parents' names, contact details, and address
Step 4: Select up to eight preferred exam cities
Step 5: Upload scanned copies of a passport-size photograph and signature
Step 6: Verify all details and submit the application form
