JEE Advanced 2026 admit card released; check direct link, how to download, important guidelines, JoSAA counselling dates

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee released the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 admit card at 8 am on the official website. Registered candidates will be able to download their hall tickets from the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.

Candidates can access the admit cards after logging in with their registration number, date of birth, and registered mobile number or email ID.

The admit card is a mandatory document for the examination. Candidates will have to carry the hall ticket along with a valid photo identity proof to the examination centre.

Steps to download JEE Advanced 2026 admit card

Candidates can download their hall tickets by following these steps:

• Visit the official JEE Advanced website
• Click on the “JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card” link on the homepage
• Enter the registration number, date of birth, and registered mobile number or email ID
• Submit the details to log in
• The admit card will appear on the screen
• Download and print the hall ticket for future use

JEE Advanced 2026 examination schedule

The JEE Advanced 2026 examination will be conducted on May 18, 2026, in two shifts.

Paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, while Paper 2 will take place from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Candidates are required to appear for both papers.

The hall ticket will contain important details including the candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, signature, examination centre address, and reporting time.

Exam-day guidelines

Candidates have been advised to verify all details mentioned on the admit card after downloading it. In case of any discrepancy, they should immediately contact the examination authorities.

Entry to the examination hall will not be permitted without the admit card and a valid photo identity proof.

Scribe provisions for PwD candidates

IIT Roorkee has announced assistance measures for Persons with Disabilities candidates and those with less than 40 percent disability who face writing difficulties.

Such candidates will be allowed to select a scribe on May 16, 2026, one day before the examination.

JoSAA counselling date

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2026 counselling process is tentatively expected to begin from 17:00 IST on June 2, 2026.

The counselling process will determine admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other participating technical institutes based on candidates’ JEE Advanced and JEE Main ranks.
