JEE Advanced 2023: Exam Date, fee structure, and eligibility criteria

The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, has announced the dates for JEE Advanced 2023. The dates for the Joint Entrance Examination for Advanced have been published at jeeadv.ac.in

The registration period will begin on April 30, 2023 and end on May 4, 2023. The deadline for registered applicants to pay their fees is May 5, 2023. The test will take place on June 4, 2023. The test comprises two ‘three-hour’ papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) each.

Timings for paper 1 is 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and for Paper 2 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. It is necessary to take both papers. It should be remembered that the examination date will not alter even if the day is proclaimed a public holiday.


A candidate may take JEE Advance not more than twice in two consecutive years. Eligibility criteria in terms of age is candidates must have been born between October 1, 1998, and October 1, 1999. ST, SC and PwD candidates will have a five-year age relaxation; these candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1993.

The registration deadline for international candidates has also been announced. Foreign candidates can register online beginning April 24 and will end on May 4, 2023. The deadline for accepting registration fees from international candidates is May 5, 2023.

Fee payments for registered candidates are due by 5 p.m. on May 5. For Indian citizens, the registration cost is Rs. 1,450 for female candidates, SC, ST, and PwD candidates, and Rs. 2,900 for all other candidates.

For foreign nationals, the price for candidates residing in SAARC nations is $90, and the fee for candidates residing in non-SAARC countries is $180.
