According to seasoned actress Jaya Bachchan, "physical attraction" is crucial for a relationship to stand the test of time. A relationship cannot survive on just "love, fresh air, and adjustment," and a physical element is equally crucial.

On her granddaughter Navya Nanda's podcast 'What The Hell Navya,' she talked about how they couldn't experiment in their time.

The senior Bachchan said people would be offended that this comes from her, but compatibility and physical appeal are equally necessary.

Jaya then said that she also has no issue with Navya having a child without marriage.
