Friends and family gathered to pay their last respects to the late actor Kaushik at a crematorium in Mumbai. Anupam Kher, Javed Akhtar, Sham Kaushal, Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor were some of the Bollywood celebrities present to bid him a final farewell.
The late actor-director attended a Holi bash hosted by Akhtar and Shabana Azmi at their residence in Mumbai the day before his untimely passing. The following morning, he travelled to Delhi to celebrate Holi with his National School of Drama and childhood friends. However, after playing Holi, he felt uneasy and was taken to Fortis Hospital, where he passed away on arrival. An autopsy report revealed that the cause of death was cardiac arrest.
Satish Kaushik, the renowned Bollywood actor, director, producer, comedian, and screenwriter, passed away at the age of 66. He had a distinguished career in Bollywood, having played some unforgettable characters, such as Manu Manek Mundra and Advocate Sadhuram. He is survived by his wife Shashi Kaushik, whom he married in 1985, and his 10-year-old daughter Vanshika.
