Jaswinder Bhalla, popular Punjabi comedian known for Advocate Dhillon, passes away

Punjabi comedian Jaswinder Bhalla passed away early this morning at Fortis Hospital, Mohali. He was 65. As per reports, his cremation will take place on August 23 at 12 pm at Balongi cremation ground in Mohali. Bhalla’s mortal remains will be consigned to flames tomorrow at Balongi. Family, friends, and colleagues from the Punjabi entertainment industry are expected to gather to pay their last respects.

News of Bhalla’s demise has cast a shadow over the Punjabi film industry. Known for his comic roles, his work had become a significant part of Punjabi cinema over the years.
