Janmashtami 2025: Traffic diverted near Iskcon Noida; check how to reach

The city’s traffic police will enforce several diversions on Saturday at major locations expected to witness heavy crowds for Krishna Janmashtami celebrations.

Traffic movement near the ISKCON Temple in Sector 33 will be rerouted. Situated along Maharaja Agrasen Marg beside the Noida Elevated Road, the temple’s adjoining stretch—from the NTPC underpass to Gijhore Chowk—will be closed for vehicles in both directions.

The loops connecting the elevated road near ISKCON Temple and the NTPC office will also remain shut during the festivities, although traffic flow on the elevated road itself will not be affected.


Commuters heading from Gijhore towards Sector 18 and Atta Market will be redirected left towards Hoshiyarpur village, from where they can continue to City Centre. Meanwhile, those travelling from Sector 18 towards Gijhore and further to Sector 60 should take the route via Spice Mall, Adobe Crossing, and sectors 22, 23, and 54.

Lakhan Singh Yadav, DCP (traffic), stated that visitors to the ISKCON Temple must park at the lot adjacent to the Adobe building. “If the Adobe parking is flooded due to rain or reaches capacity, devotees will be directed to use the Sector 21 Noida Stadium parking,” he said.
