Jamie Foxx hospitalized after a medical emergency, on way to recovery now

Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx, 55, was hospitalized after a medical emergency on Tuesday morning. A representative said on Wednesday that his condition was serious enough to warrant family members to come to the hospital. However, Foxx is communicating now, and his daughter Corinne Foxx, issued a statement on Instagram that her father is already on his way to recovery, thanks to quick action and great care.

Foxx is currently working on the movie "Back in Action" in Atlanta along with Glenn Close and Cameron Diaz. No additional information on Foxx’s medical complication was provided, and comments were restricted on Corinne Foxx’s post.
